Today is Menstrual Hygiene Day! You might be wondering, what is MH Day? MH Day is a globally recognized day that has sparked advocacy worldwide! It was first celebrated on May 28th, 2014. Last year, there was more than 180 events in 34 countries! Wow! I can't imagine what this year will bring. This year's theme is: From Anxiety to Confidence . Do you know why MH Day is observed on May 28th? The menstrual cycle lasts 28 days and periods last for approximately 5 days. Hence, MH Day is celebrated on the 28th day of the 5th month of the year.
